I was all set on punching out my “Goodbye-cruel-world -aka-Instagram-” farewell missive. It was to be a bold move towards complete authenticity, which is not a static thing, my way of cutting the conversation that I attempted with Instagram in the social media stratosphere. Formulating my bitter-edged observations all along; a clever writer spurned by social media-so original, right?

But for me the whole point of the ideas, the conceiving, the cooking, the writing, the serving, is the PROCESS. Also I don’t want to be boring. So instead of dull wraffling here are some waffle hacks. There’s a pizza waffle hack on big_bite_ banquet that involves two disks of olive oil brushed pizza dough, a splash of pizza sauce and a blanket of shredded mozzarella and grated parm, squeezed between the waffle pattered dough until a kind of concentrated pizza sandwich emerges toastily. The brownie hack is just for you. A quick and easy way to a powerful endorphin rush:

Follow directions on the box of brownies, spoon the batter into waffle iron (do not spread to the edges- when you press down iron the brownie batter will reach the edge. 3-4 minutes depending on how soft and gooey you like it.

I am on the verge of a new book idea. It’s a biggie, andl my appetite is slowly returning, not ready to dig right in yet, but I’m taking quick nibbles and tentative bites. Bon Appetit!
